Working with Agents

You manage Agents on the Agent Management screen.

It's important to remember:

• You can create Tags to organize Targets or Agents and to identify scans.

  • Tags are a collection of Targets (box, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.) (Agents can also act as Targets) that you scan for sensitive data.

• You can manage your Policies, Installations, and Registrations

  • Policies - Policies control the behavior of Agents.

  • Installations - This topic describes how to create a custom .MSI installation file and what is required to make it. The Installations page displays a detailed view of your current installations.

  • Registrations - Registration is where you retrieve the clientsettings.reg registry file (Windows users) or XML configuration file (Mac/Linux users) that you need to build your custom MSI file for installing Spirion Sensitive Data Platform.
